The Arizona Civics Coalition held a meeting at the offices of the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education in the Arizona Bar Center on July 26, 2006 at 8:30 am in the 3rd Floor Boardroom. The Coalition discussed the Constitution/Flag display bill and Civic Engagement and Education Commission which were passed this legislative session. The Coalition also heard a presentation by Debra Raeder from the Governor's P-20 Council on their work in education reform. Member organizations also shared updates and AZFLSE shared an update on the Arizona Civics Index, Civic Education Practice Examples and upcoming coalition activities.
