Public Outreach/Coalition Building. Coalition building will include regular coalition meetings, strategic planning to determine the core competencies of the group and an action plan to carry the work forward beyond the grant period. Once the civic index has been completed, the Coalition will plan a series of town hall meetings across the state to examine the Arizona Civic Index findings, generate local dialogues and craft practical solutions which will strengthen civic learning in Arizona. Suggestions from town hall findings will be documented and shared with state policy makers, local school district administrators, and school principals.
